Electronic Inks
Today’s electronic inks are liquids containing active materials of defined particle size in an optimized combination with a wide variety of excipients and other additives. The range of commercial inks is limited by the availability of electronically active materials in a controlled particle size and the subsequent optimization into a new ink.
Wildcat’s top-down particle size control capabilities are material agnostic, allowing a wide range of materials to be tested; furthermore, our high throughput capabilities allow rapid and parallel formulation testing of these new materials into inks.
Applications for these inks include:
- Displays and lighting
- Photovoltaics
- Medical devices and sensors
- Radio frequency applications
