Shrikant Khot

Shrikant is the Sr. Vice President R&D Operations. Shrikant is a global R&D and innovation executive with 20 years of experience in materials research, product development, innovation strategy, and organizational leadership.  

Prior to joining Wildcat he was the Vice President Global R&D for the Pharma Solutions division of International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF). In this role he led a global team of scientists with expertise in polymer design, solids processing, and formulation/delivery technologies. Additionally he led business enterprise-wide projects across technology, quality, manufacturing, commercial and regulatory functions.  

Throughout his career, Shrikant has been driven by the opportunity to apply deep scientific and engineering expertise to deliver commercial value in companies. Before working at IFF, he worked in R&D leadership roles at DuPont and Dow Chemical, playing an integral role in the formation of the combined Dow and FMC pharmaceutical excipients technology organization. He began his career as a research engineer and technical project leader at Dow Chemical and Air Products across a range of fields, including energy storage, filtration, and electronic materials.

Shrikant received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware.
